High Intensity Discharge
(HID) does not have filaments like standard
halogen bulbs. Instead an arc of electricity ignites
magnetic salts within the bulb to cause the glow.
Due to this technology, HID bulbs last 10 times
as long as halogen, there is no filament to break
or burn out. HID also consumes less electricity
than halogen. Halogen bulbs consume approximately
55 watts of electricity where HID only consumes
about 35 watts.
Xenon HID outputs
three times the amount of light compared to a standard
halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a
higher light temperature and gives it its distinct
color and appearance. |

Philips
Based Xenon HID Conversion Kit Conversion kit
will use genuine Philips bulbs and ballasts. Custom moulded
bases will be used to ensure proper fitment and beam patterns.
This product will include a complete wiring harness that
will literally plug directly into your OEM headlight harness
via proper mating connectors. The harness provided will
include upgraded fuses and relays to ensure you do not
draw a higher current from your stock harness than it
was designed to provide. This product will utilize the
newly designed Philips XLD 145 slim ballast. This new
design will enable the product be used in a wider variety
of applications. Furthermore, this product has been designed
to offer higher levels of water and heat resistance.

draws power directly from the battery, not the factory
headlight wiring to ensure safety.
Please
note: Lots of kits on the market
say they are Philips kits. Most of these kits
use Philips ballasts but use cheaper bulbs made by another
company. Those kits are NOT genuine Philips rebased kits.
