High Intensity Discharge
(HID) is the latest technology in automotive
lighting. It replaces the filament of the light
bulb with xenon gas by utilizing the gas discharge
principle, an arc of light is created between two
electrodes in a small capsule filled with a mixture
of xenon gas and halide salts. When high voltage
is applied, the gas is ignited to produce an arc
of light.
Xenon HID outputs three
times the amount of light compared to a standard
halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a
higher light temperature and gives it its distinct
color and appearance. |

have H4(9003), 9004, HB5(9007) or H13 halogen bulbs on
your vehicule? That means that the same bulbs do your
low beams and high beams. Then you need a Hi/Lo HID kit
if you want to keep your high beams function. That way

hue, best looks
